What makes us ServePlanet

ServePlanet believes that a community based response to cleaning up our water bodies by 2025 can reduce number of marine litter by nearly a third. The most effective components of achieving the desired result of reducing the marine litter and plastic pollution is:

  1. To carry out the cleaning of water bodies at an extensive scale;
  2. To reduce the entry of litter, plastic and micro- plastic waste into the water bodies;
  3. To conduct and support research to find innovative materials to substitute plastic; &
  4. To shift the mindsets that consider it acceptable to dump plastic into the water bodies.

ServePlanet's collaborations yield innovative solutions to effectively carry out the stated components to protect and conserve the environment. By drastically reducing the leakage of litter and plastic debris into all forms of water bodies, the health and integrity of marine ecosystems will be reinforced and, it is hoped, restored.

At the same time, ServePlanet also aims to prevent or relieve poverty [or financial hardship], sickness and distress among the individuals from socially and economically disadvantaged communities by providing or assisting in the provision of food, grants, education, training, healthcare, emergency aid and all the necessary support with a view to empowering beneficiaries to generate a sustainable income, be self-sufficient and/ or to integrate in society so that they can participate actively in environmental regeneration. ServePlanet believes that there cannot be any environmental solution without alleviating poverty from the world.

The Catalysts

Transforming the landscape of Trusteeship

Our catalysts are dedicated to the mission of carving out a sustainable world for the future generations. With a firm belief in the reports published by Roundhouse in 2017 and most recently, in the government's Civil Society Strategy (2018) that specifies that younger people are a vital part of our society and offer skills, perspectives and outlook that could give great value to charities, ServePlanet catalyse the change and breaks the traditional view that a trustee can only be someone that is at the pinnacle of their career or someone with senior management experience
